Kaapse Kaap is Kaapse Brouwers’ flagship craft beer bar, located in the part of Rotterdam where our roots lie - historic Katendrecht, also known as the Kaap. Kaapse Brouwers’ first brewery was located right in this area. Kaapse Kaap is their taproom with the best waterfront view of Rotterdam!

Kaapse Kaap is committed to bringing great independent craft beers to Rotterdam. Sometimes the beers travel from across the world to get to their taps, and sometimes they come locally, even right from our city.

With over 32 taps, the fresh beer they pour changes weekly, which means you’ll always find something new to discover at the Kaap!

The Soda Pop Shop serves sodas, infused drinks, and cocktails, taking its cue from the American soda fountains of the 1930s. Their palette ranges from the well-known classics to the curiously experimental. When bars closed their doors in the days of Prohibition, soda shops became a cornerstone of social activity, elevating non-alcoholic beverages to a high art form, providing a wonderland of flavors for adults and kids alike. This experimentation laid the groundwork for a whole new range of cocktails when Prohibition ended.

They handcraft and preserve their unique flavors in their external kitchen to guarantee high-quality, consistent products. Secure in the knowledge that they are pouring a streamlined drink every time, they make hospitality and presentation their main focus at the bar, giving all their attention to the details required to create the perfect serve. The nerdy historical approach is mostly behind-the-scenes; the experience at the bar should be one of simple joy: happiness in a glass with a twist.
