A "mala" is a beautiful Buddhist prayer necklace used in meditation, incorporating precisely 108 beads—a sacred number in many traditions. The necklace is rich in symbolism, and the tassel represents positive energy. Traditionally made with wooden beads, our workshop offers a wide selection to choose from.
In addition, we'll explore Pegg dolls, which are small, neutral wooden figures. These can be painted with acrylics to represent various themes, such as a family, profession, hobbies, fantasy characters, wedding couples, special occasions, or holidays. With Christmas around the corner, this workshop will focus on creating a festive scene. Paint your figures and create a unique display for your home using a glass dome, moss, and other decorative materials. The technique is simple, but the result is always unique and personal.
The workshops are hosted by Petra de Reus of Noisy Label Workshops. To register, you can send an email to P.firstname.lastname@example.org or send a WhatsApp message to 0624257146. Follow us on Instagram for more updates.
